Black Smoke Rotterdam is also known as the barbecue heaven of the Netherlands. Located in the monumental Van Nelle Factory, barbecue fanatics come here to enjoy the ultimate ‘smokey goodness’. The restaurant in Rotterdam is the second location of BBQ Buddies Kasper Stuart and Jord Althuizen, who is also known for his many cookbooks.
The restaurant in the old factory building was being decorated in a rough and tough style. Fire, steel and meat take centre stage here. In order to be able to offer larger groups special experiences, they were looking for a sturdy dining table of serious proportion. A real Chef’s table.
To offer this, a 6.20 metres long version was created based on the Grindelwald model. To accentuate the table’s size, it’s equipped with a special construction under the table top. This supports the table top, removing the need for a centre leg underneath. So there is almost 6 metres of loose space between the two table legs.
