This robust ‘York’ dining table is made in our workshop according to the model of an old monastery table. The outer edge of the table top is made of 4,5cm thick solid wooden beams. The pattern on the centre is made from wooden planks fixed to a furniture board.
This model combines a rural look with a more modern construction. This makes it user-friendly, solid and easy to combine with various contemporary interiors.
The size of the example table on the first picture is: L340cm, W100cm.
To give the table an authentic rural look, it is made from reclaimed old oak.
This wood has served as cladding in central European barns for years. There, rain and sun have given it a beautiful patina.
Using old oak in a new table gives this beautiful material a new life. This reduces the use of new wood, which helps preserve nature and reduce our carbon footprint.
This table is custom made for you, you can choose from the standard sizes in the menu.
If you prefer a size that does not appear in the menu, that’s no problem! Please contact us with your preferred size and we will be happy to customize the table for you.
Any colour options for the table are possible, but are dependent on the wood.
