Refectory table “Batenburg” is made in our own workshop, according to the original long dining tables in monasteries.
The tabletop is 7cm thick and made of thin old sunburned oak (sawed from the outer layer of old beams) that is glued on a furniture board. The outer edges of the tabletop are made of solid planks. The sunburned oak boards are from old houses, and have a beautiful patina tinted by the sun!
Tabletop is treated against spots. Other color / finish of wood is possible.
The size of the example table on picture is: L 350cm, W 110cm.
We make matching dining room benches for these convent tables aswell. Interested? Take a look at the page: dining room benches.
